Overview
تسعى الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور الاقتصاد السياسي في المعونة من خلال تناول برنامج المعونات الأمريكية للأردن. تنقسم الدراسة إلى جزأين: يشير الجزء الأول إلى الأدبيات النظرية المتعلقة بالمعونات، منها التعريف والدوافع والمبررات لاستخدام المعونات، والأهداف التي تسعى الدول إلى تحقيقها من وراء تلك الأداة. أيضاً الجدل حول مدى فعالية المعونات وقدرتها على تحقيق الأهداف المطلوبة. ويتناول الجزء الثاني من الدراسة حالة تطبيقية للمعونات الأمريكية لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط عامة، ولحالة الدراسة، دولة الأردن خاصة.
