Overview
مفهرسة وخبيرة مكتبات ولدت في بغداد (١٩٢٦) وتخرجت من كلية الحقوق بجامعة بغداد عام (١٩٤٩) عملت بعد تخرجها كأمين مكتبة في دار المعلمين العالي (١٩٤٩-١٩٥٨) تمكنت من الحصول على أول زمالة دراسية تخص حقل المكتبات من قبل منظمة اليونسكو عام (١٩٥٣) من مؤسسي المكتبة المركزية في جامعة بغداد. ألقت الكثير من المحاضرات العلمية في حقل المكتبات، وتم اختيارها من أبرز الشخصيات المكتبة من قبل منظمة اليونسكو من أجل إصدار نسخة معربة من تصنيف دوي، لها عدد من المؤلفات ومنها خمسة كتب مخطوطة في علم المكتبات. فلسفتها: (لا خير في كتاب لا يقرأ)، أهدت جميع كتبها إلى المكتبة المركزية العامة وإلى مكتبات أخرى.
