Overview
يعد ماركيوز من أبرز الفلاسفة الماركسيين الكاشفين عن زيف المجتمعات الرأسمالية المعاصرة وتلاعبها بالإنسان، إذ جعلت من الإنسان وسيلة لخدمة غايتها الطامحة إلى تحقيق المزيد من الفوائد والأرباح. وقد أكد ماركيوز على أن الحضارة الرأسمالية الراهنة ترفع شعار الحرية، لكن هذه الحرية شكل بدون مضمون حقيقي، فهذه الحضارة لا تعرف الحرية عبر تاريخها البعيد، فهي نشأت على الكبت عامة، وكبت الغرائز خاصة، وما زال الكبت مستمرا حتى الآن، وأن التحرر من هذه القيود يتطلب الثورة على الرأسمالية، وأن نستبدل بها نظام آخر هو الاشتراكية الإنسانية.
