رغم التحولات التي مست البناء الكلي للمجتمع الجزائري من أجل بناء مجتمع جديد على أسس جديدة، إلا أنه عرف بمجمل العادات والتقاليد التي تحدد تصرفات الأفراد، حيث يفرض عليهم احترامها والعمل بها. ومع تصاعد موجات التحرر والانفتاح على السوق، كان عليه أن يواكب هذا التحول فتأثرت المرأة بهذا التغيير الذي سمح لها بتغيير وضعيتها ومكانتها إلى ما هو أحسن فأصبح مجالها الاجتماعي والاقتصادي أكثر اتساعا على ما كان عليه خاصه بدخولها مجال التعليم والعمل المأجور لتساهم في تنمية المجتمع.
