Overview
تتسم التجربة الروحية في الإسلام بالثراء والتنوع، وبالاتساع على مستوى الزمان والمكان، وهذا ما يفضي إلى صعوبة لم شملها. عملنا في هذا المقال لا ينحصر في التأريخ لها، ولا يقتصر على وصفها. وإنما حاولنا أن نرسم صورة مختصرة عن العوامل الداخلية والخارجية التي جعلتها تنمو وتتسع باستمرار وفي اتجاهات متباينة. توقفاً عند بعض المحطات الهامة في تاريخ التصوف الإسلامي، وحاولنا صياغتها من وجهة نظر خاصة. واجتهدنا في الرد على بعض الجهات فيما يتعلق ببعض المسائل.
