Overview
This paper aims to analyze the main issues surrounding environmental competencies and presents the recommendations for embedding it in the environmental law curriculum. The paper provides answers to the following questions. How do learners and educators know which global issues are important to their lives, and where and how can they acquire their knowledge and skills to deal with these environmental problems? The paper is divided into three parts. Part I outlines the key issues related to the understanding of the global environmental education. Part II analyzes teaching, learning and knowledge approaches that develop environmental education in law schools and political science faculty. Part III presents the tendencies in a global context.
