Overview
يوضح هذا البحث طبيعة العلاقات السياسية والاقتصادية التي سادت بين الدولتين -تركيا وألمانيا- منذ تأسيس الجمهورية التركية سنة 1923 وحتى نهاية الحرب العالمية الثانية والتي تميزت بتطورها وتحسنها واستمر ذلك حتى السنوات الأولى من هذه الحرب، استفادت تركيا من طرفي النزاع (دول الحلفاء والمحور) في تصدير معدن الكروم المهمة في الصناعات الحربية، نظرا لموقفها المحايد، لكن الضغوط المتزايدة من قبل دول الحلفاء على تركيا أدى إلى قطاع علاقاتها الدبلوماسية مع ألمانيا في آب 1944، وأعقبها خطوة أخرى بإعلانها الحرب على ألمانيا أيضا في شباط 1945.
