يعالج البحث الصورة المائية في القرآن الكريم متوسلاً بالمنهج الأسلوبي من خلال المحور الأفقي الذي يعاين التناسب الدلالي بين الألفاظ المتجاورة التي تشكل النسيج اللغوي للصورة المائية من جهة -وعلاقة النسيج اللغوي للصورة بالسياق الأكبر من جهة أخرى-والمحور العمودي الذي يعلل اختيار لفظ دون غيره من البدائل اللغوية المتاحة في سياق الصورة المائية.
