Overview
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مدى انشغال تمام حسان بالمعنى الدلالي الكامل، وبكيفية الوصول إليه عن طريق تشقيقه إلى ثلاثة معان فرعية، إذ يستقل كل فرع من هذه الفروع بجزئية من هذا المعنى يظهرها ويكشف عنها، وفي المحصلة هي فروع تتشابك معا وتتداخل فلا يستغنى عن أي منها للوصول إلى المعنى النهائي المقصود، كما تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة كنه نظرية فيرث (Firth) السياقية ومقوماتها من جهة، ومدى تأثر تمام حسان بهذه النظرية في جهوده اللغوية ذات الصلة بالدلالة السياقية (الدلالية) من جهة أخرى.
