يهدف هذا البحث، إلى بيان مدى سلطة ولي الأمر، في معالجة ظاهرة تأخر سن الزواج، لدى الشباب، وقد بينا مفهوم سلطة ولي الأمر، وضوابطها، وكذلك مكانة الزواج في الإسلام، وأهميته، وما هي أسباب ظاهرة تأخر سن الزواج، لدى الشباب، وكيف أن المستعمر الأجنبي، ساهم عبر العديد من وسائل إعلامه، بكافة أنواعها، في نشر ثقافة ظاهرة تأخر سن الزواج، لدى الشباب، والتي لم تكن موجودة أصلاً، ثم بينا دور ولي الأمر، من خلال سن التشريعات والقوانين، التي تساهم في القضاء على هذه الظاهرة، وتعالجها معالجة واقعية، بما يتفق وقواعد الشرع الحنيف، ومقاصده العظيمة، ثم خاتمة بأهم النتائج.
