يأتي هذا المقال للبحث في مفهوم الأمن والتهديدات الأمنية حسب ما جاء في أدبيات العلاقات الدولية راصدا أهم المتغّيرات التي رافقت نهاية الحرب الباردة والتي كان لها تأثير في تحوّل مفهوم الأمن وانتقاله من أمن يهتم بالدولة حصراً إلى أمن يهتم بالأفراد والمجتمعات وموضّحا للتغيّر الذي طرأ على طبيعة التهديدات الأمنيّة التي أضحت \"مركّبة\" \"مبتكرة\" ولفواعل من غير الدول.
