تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة العلاقات بين الأجيال في الجزائر من خلال تغير الأسرة سواء على مستوى البنى أو على مستوى الأدوار نتيجة للأوضاع الاقتصادية والاجتماعية. ومن النتائج المتوصل إليها هو استثمار هذا المجال من العلاقات بين الأجيال في الجزائر كنمط محدد لمعالجة البعد الزمني، والوقت الاجتماعي، من خلال مرور الأجيال وحفظ الكثير من القيم والممارسات التقليدية، تساهم التغييرات في دورة الحياة بشكل رئيسي في تشويش أماكن بعضنا البعض، وبالتالي جعل العلاقات بين الأجيال أقل هرمية ببساطة.
