تدرس هذه الورقة البحثية قناة سعر الصرف في الاقتصاد الجزائر، باستخدام نموذج شعاع الانحدار الذاتي VAR، نجد أن تشديد السياسة النقدية للبنك المركزي الجزائري يؤدي، كما هو متوقع نظرياً، إلى انخفاض سعر الصرف، والذي يؤثر بدوره عكسياً، بخلاف ما هو متوقع، في الإنتاج والأسعار. زيادة على ذلك، فإن أهمية قناة سعر الصرف كجزء من آلية نقل أثر السياسة النقدية في الجزائر لا تزال ضعيفة. لتعزيز وتحسين أداء السياسة النقدية من خلال هذه القناة، يجب على الجزائر أن تحرر أكثر سعر صرف الدينار، ذلك أن هناك علاقة ارتباط وثيقة بين السياسة النقدية ونظام سعر الصرف. مرونة هذا الأخير سيدعم كثيراً وضع إطار فعال لاستهداف التضخم.
