يعد المسرح جوهرا للحياة وأكثر أنواع الفنون محاكاة للمواضيع الإنسانية، يحلل خلالها المسرحي بوعي إنساني أهداف وقضايا المجتمع، ومن أجل ذلك تروم هذه الورقة البحثية تفحص جوانب من مسرحية \"عقد الجوهر\" بما تحمله من نماذج للثورة الجزائرية، والصراع بين الاستدمار الفرنسي والشعب الجزائري، إلى غاية تحرر البلاد من المستدمر، مرورا بمراحل مرت بها المقاومة الوطنية وصولا إلى اندلاع الثورة التحريرية وتحقيق الاستقلال، هذه النماذج الثورية تجعل فهم المتلقي للثورة متداخلا مع فهمه للقضايا الاجتماعية والثقافية المعاصرة للوصول إلى الهدف الذي يرمي إليه العمل المسرحي
