Overview
شلومو هيلل يهودي عراقي، ولد في بغداد سنة ۱۹۲۳، ثم هاجر برفقة عائلته إلى فلسطين سنة ١٩٣٤، فنشط عميلا للموساد، ثم اختارته منظمة الهاغاناه الصهيونية، من أجل قيادة مهمة تهجير يهود العراق، فعمل في العراق بشكل سري، واستخدم رشاوي وتأشيرات مزورة وشبكة من المهربين والإرهابين والعملاء، لجلب اليهود العراقيين إلى الكيان الصهيوني، حتى غادر القسم الأكبر منهم في المدة (١٩٥٠ -١٩٥١). وكمكافأة لدوره السابق، أصبح في الكيان الصهيوني دبلوماسيا وسياسيا كبيرا، وحظي بإشادة واحترام واسعين بين الصهاينة، وتدرج بالمناصب، حتى عين وزيرا للشرطة (١٩٦٩ -١٩٧٧)، كما شغل منصب رئيس الكنيست العاشر (١٩٨٤ -١٩٨٨).
