هدفت الدراسة إلى الوقوف على حقيقة مفهوم الألوهية في اليهودية ووعي اليهود بهذا المفهوم، وقد جاءت الدراسة في مقدمة وثلاثة مباحث، واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الاستقرائي التاريخي والمنهج التحليلي، وخلصت إلى جملة من النتائج؛ منها؛ مفهوم الألوهية ظهر عبر مراحل تاريخ اليهود في التوراة بصورة مضطربة غير مستقرة، وقد سلك اليهود أبواب الشرك والوثنية في معظم مراحلهم تلك، والتوحيد عندهم يعني عبادة \"يهوه\" إله إسرائيل القومي، وتقوم عقيدة اليهود حول اختيار الله لشعب مقدس، كما تطرح التوراة عددا من الرؤى والاتجاهات المتناقضة تماما لمفهوم الألوهية، حيث التشبيه والتنزيه والتعدد والحلولية داخل إطار واحد، وقد برزت الحلولية اليهودية بصورة أكبر عند الفرق الباطنية كالقبالاة، وفي الحركات المعاصرة كالصهيونية.
