يعد كتاب \"فن الشعر\" للفيلسوف الإغريقي أرسطو من الكتب الهامة في مجال التنظير للأجناس الأدبية، ومن الآثار القيمة للفكر الإغريقي، الذي يعد الفكر الأم للثقافة الأوروبية الحديثة، وقد استمد كتاب \"فن الشعر\" قيمته المعرفية من خلال المواضيع التي تناولها، وما زالت تثار إلى يومنا هذا، نظرا لما تحمله من قيم معرفية وآراء نقدية، واستطاعت أن تحافظ على وجودها طيلة هذه المدة الطويلة جدا، وتساهم في التنظير للأدب والفن عامة. وفي هذا البحث نحاول الوقوف وقفة تأصيلية عند آراء أرسطو النقدية المبثوثة بين ثنايا كتابه \"فن الشعر\"؛ وقد اجتهدنا في وضع أشكال توضيحية؛ تحشمنا عناء إنجازها بالطريقة التي رأيناها مناسبة للتوضيح والإفهام.
