البحث يتحدث عن ضوابط العبادة في الإسلام، وأهمية العبادة والأخلاق في الإسلام، كما يتحدث عن أسباب انحراف الصوفية في الأخلاق، ومن ذلك: الغلو في الدين، قلة العلم، تعظيم الرجال، التأثر بالغير، عدم المتابعة. ويتحدث أيضا عن البدع عند الصوفية، ومن ذلك: -تعبدهم بالغناء والرقص والطرب. -تعبدهم بالأوراد الشركية والبدعية. -استباحتهم للكذب والفجور والرذائل والتعبد بذلك. -تسويغهم لعمل الموبقات وترك الفرائض لشيوخهم. -استباحتهم للسحر والشعوذة واعتمادهم عليها.
