اهتم علماء الإسلام بالتأليف في فضائل الأوقات، وتوسع نطاقه بأفراد بعض الأوقات بمؤلفات خاصة، كليلة القدر، والبحث يُعرف بفضائل الأوقات، وليلة القدر، ويسرد عددًا من مؤلفات المالكية في فضل هذه الليلة المباركة، ويقدم بطاقة تعريفية لثلاثة منها، بذكر عنوان الكتاب، وصاحبه، وترجمة المؤلف، ومحتوى الكتاب، ومنهجه، ومصادره؛ ويهدف البحث إلى إبراز جهود المالكية في التأليف في هذا النوع من فنون العلم، وخلص إلى نتائج منها تميّز مصنفاتهم عن ليلة القدر باستيعاب مباحثها، وأصالة وتنوع مصادرها. وأوصى البحث بالعناية بدراسة مؤلفات فضائل الأوقات التي تزخر بها المكتبة الإسلامية.
