Overview
高等教育日益國際化，在英語不是母語的國家，使用英語作為學術內容的教學語言（English as a medium of instruction, EMI）已變得司空見慣。然而，愈來愈多人擔心，在未充分考量實施過程的挑戰情況下，EMI已成為全球快速增長的趨勢。作為一種複雜的現象，需提高認識EMI對教師和學生的正向和負向的影響，教師與學生的態度與觀點皆對EMI教學推動與成效有顯著的影響。國際化對護理教育的發展亦至關重要。鑑於此，實有必要了解與考量EMI教師與學生之影響。因此，本文將概述EMI定義和其導入原因，以及EMI教師和學生面臨的挑戰，以提供護理教育政策與學術單位推行EMI教學發展之借鏡。
