Overview
نستعرض في هذه الدراسة مختلف الإصلاحات التنظيمية والسياسية التي طرأت على حزب جبهة التحرير الوطني، منذ مؤتمره الرابع في 1979 حيث عرف إصلاحات هيكلية أدت إلى تقوية مكانته في النظام السياسي، كما أعلنت رئاسة الجمهورية مجموعة من الاصلاحات السياسية بعد احداث اكتوبر 1988، استهدفت فتح المجال لما يعرف بتعدد الحساسيات داخل الحزب بعد تحويله الى جبهة الى غاية تعديل الدستور في 1989 واقرار التعددية، غير أن القوى المحافظة في حزب جبهة التحرير الوطني عارضت الاصلاحات واتضح ذلك في الصراعات التي شهدها المؤتمر السادس للحزب في نوفمبر 1988، ولعل قوة التيار الإصلاحي الذي تقف مؤسسة الرئاسة وراءه فرض على حزب جبهة التحرير الوطني قبول الاصلاحات السياسية، والتكيف مع الديمقراطية التي أصبحت خيارا استراتيجيا للنظام.
