Overview
This study aims to identify the methods and indicators of health performance evaluation in public hospital institutions, and for this purpose the descriptive approach was relied upon, by presenting the most important research literature that discussed the subject of health performance evaluation indicators. After analyzing the indicators, the study concluded that there is a (positive) relationship between performance indicators and health performance evaluation of hospitals, in addition to the fact that this public hospital institution in Metlili does not rely on objective indicators capable of determining its actual performance level.
