Overview
This field study aimed to explore the representations of government education teachers about private schools. We utilized interviews as the main tool to collect data of field study, which covered three fundamental themes: the respondents' metadata, their understanding of private schools, and their perception of the actors involved in the educational process of private schools. The study concluded with the following results: Private schools prioritize financial gain and promote class-based, resulting in unequal access to education between students in private versus public schools. Respondents are divided into two groups: one supporting private schools, believing they are of high quality and aiming for excellence in education, and one opposing them, seeing them as businesses and investments that take advantage of their attendees.
