Overview
We aim through this paper to achieve two points: the first is to provide a socio-historical analysis of the prince's relationship with the Ouled Nail region as a tribal gathering, who pledged allegiance to him for resistance and joining the project of institutionalizing his Algerian state. This tribal gathering previously formed a federation of tribes during the Ottoman era, as the region witnessed numerous rebellions and battles against them. As for the second point, the focus is on highlighting local history, which is rich in both its events and its archaeological and anthropological aspects, and it needs to be showcased and recognized, because the prevailing narrative is the official historical account that individuals learn about in school.
