يعتبر الإدراك البيئي مقياس من مقاييس علم النفس البيئي حيث يهتم هذا الجانب بعلاقة وتفاعل الفرد مع ما يحيط به وذلك من خلال المعالجة الحسية والمعرفية حتى يتمكن من التصرف وفق معطياتها، وعليه فقد لوحظ أنه كلما زاد فهم الفرد لبيئته استطاع التكيف معها والسيطرة عليها وإدراكا منا لأهمية الموضوع جاءت هذه الورقة البحثية للإشارة منا إلى محاولة فهم العملية الإدراكية للعامل في البيئات المغلقة بصفة عامة والمبني الزجاجي صفة خاصة وكيفية التصرف والتعامل معها.
