رواية \"زقاق المدق\" 1947 م، واحدة من إبداعات الأديب المصري العالمي نجيب محفوظ، قدم فيها صورة عميقة للبيئة الحقيقية في زقاق صغير من أزقة القاهرة، وهي قصة حياة أهل الزقاق إبان الحرب العالمية الثانية، وذلك من خلال شخصيات الرواية التي تعيش على هامش الحياة والمجتمع، ويقوم البحث بتحليل صورة المرأة في الرواية من خلال ثلاثة أبعاد رئيسية وهي البعد الاجتماعي، والبعد النفسي، والبعد الجسمي.
