Overview
الشحة في تمويل البحث العلمي يؤثر سلباً على مستقبل العلم في الجامعات ومراكز البحث العلمي في العالم الإسلامي. الأمر الذي يتطلب البحث عن مصادر جديدة للتمويل. يحاول البحث إظهار دور الوقف في دعم البحث العلمي، من خلال إيضاح الآثار البارزة في هذا المجال عبر التجربة التأريخية الإسلامية، وتبيان النتائج الباهرة اليوم في الجامعات الغربية، التي استحوذت على المراكز الأولى في التصنيف العالمي. يسعى البحث إلى الإجابة عن الأسئلة الآتية: ما هو الدور الذي تقوم به الأوقاف الإسلامية في عالمنا في مجال البحث العلمي؟ ما الدور الذي تلعبه الأوقاف حاليا في العالم الغربي في مجال دعم البحث العلمي؟ هل من الممكن للوقف المساهمة في الوقت الحاضر، في دعم البحث العلمي، وما هي أهم أشكال تفعيل ذلك؟
