Overview
The present study aims to investigate the extent of integrating the national professional standards for teachers developed by the Saudi Education Evaluation Commission in 2016 in teacher preparation program from the faculty perspective at the College of Education, Najran University. It was limited to two standards, namely professional knowledge and practice of the teachers. Based on its objectives and the participants' relation to the preparation program and students, the study described all standards within the first level (pre-service teacher). It adopted the descriptive survey approach and utilized a questionnaire for data collection. Results revealed that the level of integrating the professional standards for teachers in teacher preparation program was moderate in terms of professional knowledge and practice.
