هدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن أهمية النص الشعري في الكشف عن الخطر الداهم الذي يتعرض له الشعب الفلسطيني من تهويد وتدمير وقتل وتهجير من الاحتلال اليهودي لفلسطين، وأبنت فيه من خلال الدراسة الموضوعية ما قام به النص الشعري عند «د. أيمن العتوم» في بيان ما تعرض له الشعب الفلسطيني من ممارسات الاحتلال، وما هو دور الفلسطينيين وأبناء الشعوب العربية نحو المواجهة للمحتل الغاصب، وفي الدراسة الفنية تعرضت للصورة الفنية عند الشاعر ولمحسني الجناس والطباق، وكيف تعامل معهما الشاعر.
