أبرز البحث معضلة إيكولوجيا الدولة الوطنية. أعطت العولمة فرصة لأطراف أخرى غير الدولة لتمارس أدورًا عابرة للحدود، كما أستعرض البحث معالم تبيؤ الدولة الوطنية قبل العولمة، أثر العولمة في وظائف الدولة، الدولة الوطنية والتكيف مع متطلبات العولمة وتضمن ضرورة تحقيق التوازن، قضية تدخل ومسؤولية الدولة، وأختتم البحث بالتأكيد على أن الدولة الأقدر على التبيؤ في عصر العولمة هي الدولة الحصيفة أو الذكية وهى التي تتكئ على مؤسسات قوية للحكم الرشيد وتتوكأ على سيادة القانون واستقلال القضاء وهي الدولة التي تتوافر على إطار تشريعي فعال ينظم النشاط الاقتصادي وبيئة اقتصادية تنافسية مفتوحة وأسواق متطورة في المال والأعمال والعمالة وكفاءة في صنع السياسات وتنفيذها. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل المنظومة 2022\"
