Overview
This study explores the relationship between attachment patterns and bullying victimization among middle school students in Saïda, Algeria. Using a descriptive methodology, data were collected from a sample of (240) students through the Attachment Patterns Scale (Abu Ghazal & Jaradat, 2009) and the Bullying Victimization Scale (Abu Al-Diyar, 2011). The results revealed a strong, statistically significant association between anxious attachment and all forms of bullying victimization. Avoidant attachment was also significantly related to verbal and racial bullying. In contrast, secure attachment showed no significant correlation with any bullying behaviors, highlighting its potential role as a protective psychological factor. These findings underscore the importance of attachment styles in shaping students' emotional responses and resilience in the face of relational stress within the school environment.
