Overview
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى توضيح أن التدوين في الثقافة العربية طرأت عليه نقائص ولم يكن دقيقا تاما، ونستند في هذا الباب إلى البحث في الكتابات التي اهتمت بالتدوين في الثقافة العربية. ويمكن أن نبين للقارئ أن مصادرنا تتفرع إلى ضربين، الأولى مصادر منهجية، والثانية مصادر استدلالية. أما المصادر المنهجية؛ فهي المتون التي أشادت بالتدوين في تاريخ الثقافة العربية، وسنستلهم منها الشواهد الدالة على وعي المصنفين القدامى بأهمية هذه المرحلة؛ حتى نهتدي بها في البرهنة على أن العقل العربي كان على وعي بالتدوين الكتابي. أما المصادر الاستدلالية؛ فهي النصوص المدونة لكنها تشوبها نقائص، ويتخللها حضور المنطوق وملامحه في النصوص المكتوبة.
