Overview
The keynote address at the 2024 Comparative Drama Conference was a conversation with Mary Zimmerman, multi-faceted theatre and opera director, playwright and adapter, winner of the Tony Award for Best Direction for her adaptation of Ovid's Metamorphoses (2002), and Professor of Performance Studies at Northwestern University. She was interviewed by Ann M. Shanahan, Professor of Theatre and Drama and Artistic Director of University Theatre at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
