Historia del fotoperiodismo de España: el archivo gráfico de la Agencia EFE y su producción propia

Overview

This paper analyzes the practice of photojournalism in Spain and, specifically, focuses on the study of the graphic archive of the efe Agency (1939-) and its own production, developed within and outside its borders. The acquisition of funds has been taken into consideration as part of this process and, in the same way, it has also been necessary to consider the creation, in the year 2000, of the digital graphic archive: The Photo Library, inheritance of the thematic classification of analog and the nomenclature and, in this process, the documentation system used has been contributed as a result of the conclusions - through primary sources and direct observation - with emphasis on the thematic classification used. El presente artículo analiza el ejercicio del fotoperiodismo en España y, en concreto, se centra en el estudio del archivo gráfico de la Agencia efe (1939-) y su producción propia, desarrollada dentro y fuera de sus fronteras. Se ha tenido en consideración, como parte de este proceso, la adquisición de fondos y, del mismo modo, también se ha tenido presente la creación, en el año 2000, del archivo gráfico digital: La Fototeca, herencia de la clasificación temática del analógico y del nomenclátor y, en este proceso, se ha aportado como resultado de las conclusiones –a través de fuentes primarias y la observación directa- el sistema de documentación empleado, poniendo énfasis en la clasificación temática utilizada.
