Overview
The report examines the interaction of a modified rim profile with the rail profiles used for a tram track in the city of Sofia. The contact points, rolling radii difference and equivalent conicity were examined, graphs were drawn and the obtained values were analysed. Based on the obtained results, an analysis was made for the possibility of integrating the modified profile as the default tire profile in the city of Sofia.
