Overview
Pilzer discusses the music functions of Sodosori, a Northwestern Korean singing style, on the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). This international parlance DMZ is on the South Korean edge of the lethal belt of truce territory separating North and South Korean. The history of this singing style as well as how it was created are explored.
