第十一届世界肺癌大会于2005年7月3～7日在西班牙美丽的海滨城市巴塞罗那举行，本次大会的最大特点是与会者无处无时不感受到肺癌分子时代不是即将来临，而是我们已经确确实实地进入了肺癌的分子时代。从本次大会我们得到的最新信息是：随着人类基因组计划的完成和后基因组计划的实施，人们不但可以应用基因组计划和后基因组计划的成果探讨肺癌发生、发展、侵袭转移、血管生成、多药耐药的分子机制，还正在应用基因组计划的成果来开发抗肺癌的分子靶向药物，
