Overview
患病加州海狮在南宁市动物园已经饲养1 a,2007年12月10日突然出现食欲减退,精神不振,下颌肿胀,齿周炎,体温升高,外周血白细胞数值明显升高,下颌部位X线检查显示为一清晰圆形或卵形的透明阴影,边缘整齐,周围呈现一明显白色骨质反映线,定性为囊肿,根据临床症状、实验室检查和辅助检查结果确诊为单侧下颌骨囊肿并继发全身感染,采取抗菌消炎、纠正水及电解质平衡、清热解毒和根管治疗等措施,成功控制炎症,外周血白细胞数值恢复正常范围,精神食欲行为恢复正常,口腔内的炎症症状消失,下颌逐渐消肿,后期加强护理,增强营养,促使囊肿逐渐吸收变小,对动物生活没有影响。
