Overview
汞是环境中受关注的污染物质,作为湿地生态系统中最主要的汞甲基化细菌,硫酸盐还原菌(Sulfate-Reducing Bacteria)可以将无机汞转化为毒性较强的甲基汞,从而给人类及其他生物带来更高的健康风险。本文通过论述鸟粪对湿地汞污染的指示性作用,鸟粪及其土壤中硫酸盐还原菌的富集状况,以及硫酸盐还原菌在监测湿地汞污染状况中的作用得到以下结论:(1)通过对湿地鸟粪以及土壤中硫酸盐还原菌的活性以及浓度的检测,可以监测湿地汞的甲基化状况;(2)通过对影响硫酸盐还原菌反应速率的多种外界因素的变化状况的监测,可以对湿地汞污染的变化趋势进行间接性预测。未来的研究方向应主要放在多个影响因素对硫酸盐还原菌反应速率的综合性影响上,并制定出一套能够准确地反映出湿地汞污染状况的检测标准。
