Overview
目前加强国际合作打击野生动植物犯罪已成国际共识,并在国际间的政府组织和非政府组织等力量的推动下形成不容忽视的力量。个体国家的野生动植物保护工作不再仅仅是国内事务,而是已置身于国际视野。与此对应,随着科学技术的高度发达和通讯、交通的便利快捷,野生动植物犯罪已不仅仅是传统意义上的犯罪,而是趋向于跨国化和有组织化,成为继军火和毒品走私的第三大犯罪活动。在此背景下,相关情报的收集和分析工作的必要性和重要性也日益凸显,我国野生动植物保护工作负责部门的非集中化使得这一工作更为迫切。野生动植物领域的情报工作有利于增强我国在这一领域的软实力和国际话语权,切实维护国家利益和安全。
