Overview
Relays a challenge by Hei Āhuru Mōwai – National Māori Cancer Leadership Group to the Ministry of Health to ensure that the revised Ethnicity Data Protocols of Sep 2017 do not become shelved documents, but rather an intrinsic part of business-as-usual across district health boards, in order to address health inequities faced by Māori, especially with regard to cancer. Urges the wider health sector to influence and improve the quality of ethnicity data collection where possible.
