تهدف هذه الدراسة النظرية إلى التعرف على أحد المفاهيم التي لها دور كبير وفعال في توجيه أفعال العاملين، بالإضافة إلى أن لها انعكاسات في نجاح أو فشل المؤسسة ألا وهو القيم التنظيمية. ومعرفة تصورات العاملين لها والأسباب التي تدفعهم إلى الالتزام أو تهميش هذه القيم، بالتركيز على أهم التعاريف للقيم التنظيمية، وخصائصها ودوافع تطورها، ومشكلات تعلم القيم التنظيمية.
