Overview
إن تخيل الحدث المستقبلي المتمثل في أزمة الإنفاق على الصحة ناتج عن مقدمات التحول التي حدثت على المستوى السكاني، ولذلك فمن الواجب إلقاء الضوء على اتجاهات الوفيات باعتبارها المحرك الرئيسي لحدوث الانتقال الديمغرافي والوبائي، هذا الأخير الذي ألقى بضلاله على رسم شكل التركيبة السكانية الحالية وكذلك المستقبلية ومن ثم استطالة أمل الحياة وحدوث التشيخ السكاني آجلا، كل ذلك يصب في اتجاه تعاظم تكاليف الإنفاق الصحي باحتياج الفئات السكانية المتقدمة في العمر إلى الرعاية.
