ومن أهم الأهداف التي سعى البحث إلى تحقيقها: - تحديد مفهوم الأمر عند اللغويين والبلاغيين والنحويين. - حصر صيغ الأمر في شعر علي بن المقرب العيوني. - استجلاء القضايا البنيوية والتركيبية التي تحتويها جملة الأمر في شعر ابن المقرب العيوني وقد اقتضى موضوع البحث أن يكون المنهج وصفيا تحليليا. وأن يقسم إلى ثلاثة مباحث يسبقهما مقدمة ويتلوهما نتائج وخاتمة؛ جاءت على هذا النحو: - مفهوم الآمر - صيغ الأمر في شعر علي بن المقرب العيوني. - قضايا التركيب والبنية في جملة الأمر في شعر ابن المقرب العيوني.
