هدف البحث إلى تعرف مفهوم رأس المال الاجتماعي ودوره في تنمية الشخصية المصرية بعد ثورة 25 يناير من أجل تحقيق التماسك الاجتماعي والمواطنة في المجتمع المصري، وقد استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي للوقوف على بعض المفاهيم والقضايا وخاصة المتعلقة برأس المال الاجتماعي، والمواطنة والحرية وقبول الآخر، ووضع بعض المقترحات التربوية التي من الممكن أن تسهم في تنمية رأس المال الاجتماعي في المجتمع المصري.
