الطور الإبداعي وليد مرحلة من عمر الرواية السودانية، لها متغيراتها التي دفعت إلى ظهور اتجاهات تطمح إلى معايير روائية أكثر تميزاً، وأوسع أفقاً، وأعمق ثقافة، ومن هنا كان هذا الطور والذي ظل استثنائياً تماماً وقد بلغت بعض روايات هذه المرحلة مصاف العالمية وبقفزات جديدة غير مسبوقة تخطت كل التوقعات العربية والعالمية ولفتت الانتباه إلى بروز النصوص المميزة للرواية السودانية بنكهة مختلفة تحمل في سماتها الروح الأفريقية والأسيوية.
