Overview
ركز المقال على ظاهرة تعدد المعتقدات والأديان لدى أتراك آسيا الوسطى في الفترة الوسيطية، فقد انتقلوا من الوثنية إلى الشامانية والمانوية ثم البوذية والزرادشتية ثم المسيحية فالإسلام، كما حاول الإجابة عن الأسباب التي جعلت الأتراك يتأرجحون بين تلك المعتقدات والأديان ثم استقروا على تبي الدين الإسلامي وثبوت عليه إلى الوقت الحاضر. وجاول هذا البحث استغلال المصادر والمراجع والدراسات المختلفة لفك الغموض الحاصل حول تعدد المعتقدات والأديان لدى الأتراك قبل الهجمات المغولية على بلادهم.
