يهدف هذا البحث إلى تأصيل المفاهيم المتعلقة بجودة الخدمة التعليمة بداية من مفهوم الجودة بذاتها ثم جودة الخدمة، ثم المفاهيم المرتبطة بجودة الخدمة التعليمة مثل إدارة الجودة الشاملة، رضا الطلاب، أصحاب المصلحة، وعلاقة تلك المفاهيم ببعضها البعض، مع ذكر أمثلة لأهم مقاييس الجودة وبالأخص جودة الخدمة التعليمية.
