Overview
يشتغل هذا المقال بالبحث في الأساليب الإحصائية المتبعة في اختبار الفرضيات الإحصائية في البحوث الاجتماعية. حيث تلعب الفروض في البحث الاجتماعي دورا يصعب تحديده، إذ يتم من خلالها الانتقال من التجريد إلى الملموس بهدف تحليل الواقع الاجتماعي بكل أبعاده وخصوصياته، ما ينتج عنه تراكمية العلم، لأن ثبات الفرض يعني أنه يصبح مصدرا لفروض جديدة تخضع للدراسة، كما أن ثبوت بطلانه يعني تعديله وإعادة صياغته وإعادة اختباره ثانية أو وضع فروض بديلة.
