Overview
يتناول هذا البحث: التعريف بالفلسفة الإسلامية ومجالاتها، وخصائصها، ثم بيان دور الفلسفة الإسلامية في النهضة الأوربية، مع ذكر أثر علوم المسلمين في تكوين الفكر الأوربي في مختلف ميادينه من طب، ورياضة وكيماء وفلك، واجتماع، وتصوف، وأخلاق، وغيره، ويتناول البحث أيضا أثر الفلسفة الإسلامية في الغرب اللاتيني من خلال المنهج التجريبي وأثره في الغرب، ونظرية المعرفة والنفس عند ابن سينا، التوفيق بين الدين والفلسفة عند ابن رشد، ثم ذكرت اعترافات علماء الغرب بفضل علماء المسلمين، وختمت أخيرا بالرد على من ينكر الجدية والابتكار في الفلسفة الإسلامية.
